Why we exist
Marketing, done properly, is a craft. It rewards expertise, accumulated judgement, and a long view. It cannot be commoditised without being diminished.
Most marketing is sold as a commodity. Channels, tactics, deliverables, dashboards — interchangeable inputs producing interchangeable outputs. We don’t see it that way.
Freshbat exists because founders of premium businesses deserve better than generic marketing advice built for generic businesses. The founders we work with have spent years getting the quality of their work right. Our job is to make sure their marketing reflects that.
We work with a small number of clients at a time. Every engagement starts with a Marketing Strategy in a Day – a single, focused session that produces a clear twelve-month direction. Everything that follows is built on that foundation.

Catherine founded Freshbat in 2021 with a clear belief: marketing should be commercially intelligent, creatively sharp, and free from noise.
She is CIM-qualified with over fifteen years of senior marketing experience across B2B and premium consumer brands. She works with founders who have built something genuinely worth talking about — and who are ready for marketing that reflects it.
Every Freshbat client relationship runs through Catherine. She is the strategic lead on every engagement.

Sarah brings twenty-five years of brand and marketing communications experience — and the rare ability to make ambitious work feel achievable.
